Hon. Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo was born in Doma Local Government Area of Nasarawa State in 1952. He began his Educational pursuit at the Local Government Education Authority (LGEA) primary School (now central School), Doma in 1962 and had by 1969 secured admission into the famous Government Secondary School, Lafia.
After his secondary education in 1973, Hon. Onawo opted for the Teaching Profession by registering for a pivotal programme of the Government Teacher’s College Jos, capping the effort in 1975 with a Teacher’s Grade II certificate.
A few years later, between 1977 and 1980 to be precise, Hon. Onawo enrolled into Ramat Polytechnic Maiduguri, where he bagged the Higher National Diploma in business Administration in 1995. He later enrolled into Nasarawa state University where he obtained a post Graduate in Diploma in Management 1n 2008. Hon Onawo is successfully married with children.
He loves Traveling , Music, Sports (especially Golf, Table Tennis, and Athletics), Meeting people and Watching Movies, amongst his many other bobbies.
He is a member of so many committees in the House of Representative such as:
